We are a non-profit, tax-exempt organization! Founded in 2009, our purpose is to provide shelter, care and a life-time home to rescued, abused, abandoned, surrendered and homeless poultry, livestock, and other animals; to prevent animal cruelty by supporting and promoting animal welfare education, and to support local, national and international animal welfare organizations.
Our poultry and livestock animals are rescues and we are their forever home. They are protected from predators by trained Livestock Guardian Dogs (also rescues). We do not cull - all poultry (and other animals) on our farm are given the best medical attention for illness or injury. Along with special-need and/or difficult-to-rehome cats and dogs, we have chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, geese, goats and sheep living in our shelter and on 35 park-like acres in Hempstead, Texas, approximately 45 miles northwest of Houston. We are committed to providing each and every animal on this farm with the best life possible. We have 501(c) (3) status - so your donation is fully tax deductible.

How We're Funded
Our innovative pet products were born from hands-on experience caring for hundreds of birds and animals. When we couldn't find solutions for common challenges, we created them—first for our sanctuary residents, then for pet owners everywhere.
Every Hen Holster, Birdy Bootie, and Kitty Holster is made in the US. Each purchase supports our rescue mission, with 10% of profits directly funding animal care.
